Common questions
Do I need an account to use it?
No. You get a few rig builds a month without signing in at all. An account keeps your saved rigs and carries your subscription to your other devices.
My sign-in code hasn't arrived.
Check your spam folder first. Codes expire after 10 minutes, so if it's been longer, request a fresh one. If two attempts produce nothing, email us and we'll look at the delivery log for your address.
What's a "rig build", and why is it limited?
A rig build is when your tech works out a whole new signal chain for a song — the expensive bit. Adjusting a rig afterwards ("more gain", "kill the reverb") is unlimited on every plan, including free, because most of those happen on your device instantly.
Why do I need a TONE3000 account?
The amp and pedal captures come from TONE3000, made by their community. Your device downloads them on your own account, so the makers get their download credited and each capture's licence is respected. It's free to sign up with them.
Can I use my own Anthropic API key instead of subscribing?
Yes. Put your key in Settings and rig builds run on your own Anthropic account with no monthly limit from us. You'd only subscribe if you want the cloud rig library synced across devices.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You keep access until the current period ends. We can't cancel it for you — only Apple can.
How do I delete my account?
Use the delete option in the app's Settings, or email us from your account address and we'll remove your account, saved rigs and usage records. See the privacy policy for what's held and for how long.
A capture sounds wrong, or won't load.
Captures are third-party files and occasionally one is broken or has been withdrawn. Ask your tech for a different amp, and let us know which capture misbehaved so we can handle it more gracefully.
Requesting a refund
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Use reportaproblem.apple.com. If something we did caused the problem, email us anyway — we'll happily back up your case.
